USFA ZiP .22 LR v2 Working Model – Fully 3D Printed DIY Compact Pistol

The USFA ZiP .22 LR is recognized as one of the most unconventional designs in modern firearms history. Originally released in 2013, this bullpup-configuration pistol gained notoriety for its futuristic, boxy aesthetic and its departure from traditional ergonomic standards. It was designed as a modular system that could theoretically be expanded with various rails and stocks, or even mounted as an under-barrel attachment for rifles.

Chassis Geometry: The design features a polymer frame with a distinct dual-finger loop system and a flat rear plate instead of a traditional pistol grip.

Mechanical Layout: Unlike most semi-automatic pistols with a sliding top, the ZiP .22 utilized two internal charging rods located above the muzzle for cycling the action and resetting the striker.
